Women in tribal society in Arunachal Pradesh are always hard worker. Their sex ratio is always higher in all census records excepting 1991. Women are an integral part in every society. Ram Krishna Mandal ( b.1966) has been serving as Associate Professor in Economics, Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. He completed his graduation with honours in Economics from Balurghat College, Balurghat (W.B) and took his higher education in M.A. in Economics with Distinction, M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Economics, BLIS and B.Ed. from the North Bengal University, Darjeeling (W.B.). He is a member of Research Centre for Social Sciences, Mumbai, North-East India Council for Social Science Research, Shillong, North Eastern Economic Association, Gawahati and Social Science Research Institute of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar. To his credit, he has forty research papers on national and regional issues published in various reputed academic National and International Journals. He has completed or likely completed three research projects sponsored by UGC and also a Post Doctoral Research Awardee UGC Fellow. New Delhi. By virtue of his merit and perseverance, he has authored five books: (i) Micro-economic Theory, (ii) Socio- Economic Transformation of Arunachal Pradesh. (iii) Money, Income and Rational Expectations in Indian Economy, (iv) Macroeconomic Theory (Jointly) and (v) VAT in North-east India-Issues and and Challenges. Minto Ete ( b. 1976) (M.Com., M.Phil.) is presently working as Assistant Professor in Commerce, Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. He had presented around 15 research papers in regional and national seminars. He has also a good numbers of research papers published in various journals, periodicals and edited books. The present book is an outcome of research work carried out for further research work of young researcher in future.
