Dr. Sobhag Mathuris an Associate Professor in the Department of History, University of Jodhpur, Jodhpur. His doctoral thesis struggle for Responsible Government in Marwar published in 1984 is a well-known contribution to the study of modern history of Rajasthan. An authority on modern Indian history, he has authored numerous research papers. His book on the Hindu Mahasabha is in the press. Shankar Goyal (b. 1959), after graduation from Rajasthan University, Jaipur, obtained his Post graduate degree from Deccan College, University of Poona. He has specialised in ancient Indian history, culture and archaeology. He has about fifty research papers to his credit. He is the author of two monograps. Besides, he has co-edited many works. At present he is Assistant professor in the Department he is Assistant Professor in the Department of History of the University of Jodhpur, Jodhpur, (Rajasthan).
