The last chapter deals with the latest disastrous Gulf War which took place between Iraq and allied Forces of 32 countries led by the United States of America. Thus the book is the first comprehensive study of the Iraqi Foreign Policy and will be found highly useful by students and scholars of contemporary history of the region.

 

Dr. Mahboob Alam (b. 1954) obtained his M.A. (Pol.Sc.) and Ph.D. degrees from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 1977 and 1980 respectively. he belongs to 1981 batch of Tamil Nadu Cadre of IPS and is currently serving as AIGP of CISF.
