Financial Administration And Personnel Management In Public Enterprises

The present volume is a macro analysis of personnel management and financial administration. The various aspects of administration-vertical and horizontal relation among staff, sources of finance, expenditure, financial control over administration-have been extensively dealt with Government have time bound programmes for projects with minimum of expenditure. Completion of work within the stipulated period is hardly possible with bureaucratic bottlenecks. The check on expenditure exercised by the financial staff on the administrative and technical staff often breeds mutual ill-will. DELAY is the common charge against the financial staff by the administrative personnel. This problem has been highlighted in the study and suggestions for improvement have been made.
