One of the objectives of the editors was that it would enable sociology students, lecturers, feminist apologists, and social workers to have a wide range and vast perspectives on women in a changing world. The book had relied on the fact that the whole world is dynamic and that the only constant thing itself is change. It is in this realisation that this book is not only essential but sufficiently necessary. The editors carefully and painstakingly woven the varying angles for the book uniqueness. Thus, there were contributions from humanities, education and social sciences among others. The book has sustained the tempo in women studies. In fact, what is particularly significant about this book is the overwhelming contributions by the authors. “Women in Changing World”, therefore has a wide wide coverage of developmental agenda vis-a-vis the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
