About the Author
Bir Pal Singh (b. 1970) is presently working as Assistant Professor (Panchayat Admin. & Nyaya Panchayat) in National Law Institute University, Bhopal (M.P.). He obtained Ph.D. in Anthropology from Lucknow University. His papers have been published by both journals of national and international reputes.
His academic and research interest include Tribal and Customary Laws, Legal Anthropology, Sociology of Law, Social Exclusion and Law, Law and Social Transformation, and Law Relating to Affirmative Action.
