Dr Nabin Manger hails from Sumbuk, South Sikkim. With his profound dedication to the field of education, Dr Manger currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Sikkim Government College, Namchi, where he combines his extensive knowledge and passion for education to inspire and guide future generations. Dr. Manger holds dual Master’s degrees in Education and Sociology. Furthering his expertise, he completed an M.Phil and Ph.D. in Education, strengthening his status as a scholar. He cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Education also. His scholarly works have been published in numerous national and international journals, reflecting his deep insights and innovative approaches to education.

 

Prof Yodida Bhutia, Dean, School of Professional Studies, Sikkim University (Central), Gangtok. She has obtained a B.Sc. MA(Eng), M.Ed. MA (Edu), PGDHE, PhD. She has also earned a Post-doctorate from the University of the Aegean (Greece). She worked as the Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, at North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong at Meghalaya from 2009 to 2017. At present, she is working at the Department of Education, at Sikkim University. She has presented papers in different national and international seminars. She has authored books -Higher Education: Status and Problems in Sikkim; Development of Education System in India; Institutional Assessment of Colleges of Sikkim; Mental Health Education; Secondary Education and Elementary Education in Sikkim; Women of Sikkim. She has conducted successfully numerous International and National research projects to name few a projects under the United Kingdom India Education Research Initiative funded by the British Council from 2008-2012. So far, she has completed two projects sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi.
