The present work is based on first and subsequent generation learners belonging to scheduled castes at higher secondary level of Meerut region in U.P. The researcher identified different types of problems of students belonging to poor families in scheduled castes communities. Further it was noticed that the Government of India has been providing many facilities to scheduled castes since 1951 but the youth of these castes remains backward. In this book appropriate statistical techniques have been used for drawing the results. The results of findings have also been given. The book is likely to prove a valuable addition to the literature on the subject.
