Dr. R.N. Prasad (b. 1941) M.A. (Political Science), Ph.D., is a Reader in Public Administration, North Eastern Hill University, Mizoram Campus, Aizawl. An Executive Member of the North-East India Council for Social Science Research, Shillong, Dr. Prasad is also a member of the professional bodies like Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi and Indian Public Administration Association. He is presently a member of the Board of the School of Social Sciences and the Board of Post Graduate Studies in Public Administration, NEHU, Shillong. He has several published articles, book reviews and one book on Government and Politics in Mizoram to his credit. Dr. A.K. Agarwal (b. 1949) is a Reader in Economics, North Eastern Hill University, Mizoram Campus, Aizawl. He is a leading scholar of Regional Economics and Public Economics. He has contributed a large number of articles and book reviews. He has authored 6 books. Currently he is engaged in directing a project on Carpet Weaving Industry in Arunachal Pradesh, financed by the ICSSR, New Delhi.
