Anil Dutta Mishra (b. 1965) did his M.A. and M.Phil. in Political Science from University of Delhi and Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.he started his career as Assistant Professor in the Department of Non-violence and Peace Studies, Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (Deemed University) Ladnun, Rajasthan. Presently, he is Assistant Director, National Gandhi Museum, Rajghat, New Delhi. Dr. Mishra’s area of specialization include Grass-root Politics, Indian Government and Politics, Women’s Studies and Human Rights. A rare combination of intellectualism and activism, he has distinguished himself as a young Gandhian Scholar. A widely travelled man, he has authored/ edited eight books and published number of research papers in leading professional journals. His earlier books Problems and Prospects of Working Women in Urban India (1994); Fundamentals of Gandhism (1995); Gamdhian Approach to Contemporary Problems (1996); Decentralised Planning in India: A Study of Objective and Operational Framework (1998); Gender Perspectives: Participation, Empowerment and Development (1999) and Gandhism after Gandhi (1999) were well received and widely acclaimed. Mahadev Shivappa Dadage (b. 1948) did his M.A. and M.Phil in English from Shivaji University and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University respectively. Presently, he is head of Department of English in M.B. College, Latur. His book ‘Dimensions of Gandhian Thought’ which was published recently, has been widely acclaimed in Gandhian circle. He has been given Baweswar Bhusan Award for rendering valuable services. He is Treasurer of Indian Society of Gandhian Studies and Samaj Bharati.
