Multidisciplinary and Integrated Teaching: Issues and Challenges by Savita Mishra and Md. Hanif

The book “Multidisciplinary  and Integrated Teaching Issues and Challenges in 21st Century” discusses and presents the results of a thorough analysis of promising educational needs and responses as the pandemic unfolds. The overall goal is to facilitate the rapid design process and implementation of adaptive responses to the emerging education challenges, and to protect students’ educational opportunities during and following the pandemic.

Dr. Savita Mishra is a Principal, Vidyasagar College of Education, Phansidewa, Darjeeling, West Bengal. She has impeccable records of nineteen years of teaching and research activities.  She is continuously engaged in organizing National and International level conferences, webinars and workshops for dissemination of knowledge and expertise to the stakeholders of education. She has written more than 150 research articles in reputed National and International journals and authored & edited 83 books. She has also developed a psychological tool for assessing Attitude towards Science. She is the Vice-President of Council of Teacher Education (Eastern Zone); Scientist, IAEC; Member of Board of Studies, National resource person & master trainer of MGNCRE, Ministry of Education, Government of India, members of advisory and editorial board of national and international journals, Founder and Secretary of Ranidanga Yashoda Educational Society and Visiting Professor of some of the Universities including Academic Staff Colleges. She has awarded Best Teacher Award 2010 from Sikkim central University, Best Principal award 2020, Best Academician Award 2020, Celebrity writer award 2020, Excellent Achiever award 2020, Women Researcher Award 2021 and Outstanding Scientist Award 2021. She has been conferred the title of ‘Leading Educationists of the World’ by IBC, Cambridge, London.

Md Hanif  is currently working at Trinity B.Ed College, Siliguri, Darjeeling, Faculty of Geography under Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (WBUTTEPA), Kolkata West Bengal. He has been impeccable record of Eight years of teaching experience in training institute and one year teaching in Higher secondary school (W.B) and Ex  Assistant professor, Faculty of Geography in N.B.S. College of Education Jalpaiguri and Guest lecturer, School of Environmental Science, Ramganj Govt PTTI, Ramganj, Uttar Dinajpur. He has present Ph.D Research Scholar Department of Geography in Dr. C.V. Raman University Bilaspur Chhattisgarh. He has been motivating teachers and students to come up with innovative ideas for the progressive development of teaching process and different disciplines are supervisor in the field of practicum. He has  published ten national and international journals and Participant in 35 seminar (National and international), Workshops.
