The state of mizoram with aizawl as its capital is located between 21033’ to 24020’n latitude and 92006’e longitude and comprises seven districts and covers an area of 2.11 million hectares. The major physiography includes low and high amplitudinal hills and narrow valleys. Mizoram, a bordering state of the country achieved the statehood status on 20th February, 1987.
