In the year of 1228, Sukapha entered into Brahmaputra Valley and on 1253, he had established capital in Charaidew and coroneted himself as the king (Swarga dew) and they ruled Assam till 1838. In this book, a study has been made about the land systems and its utility in Assam and to implement it for the benefit of the mankind to live a standard life. In this book, an endeavour has been made to study the land system of Assam, with its historical background, land mapping and utility including land relating to Sixth-Schedule, Char, Forest, Tea Gardens, Satra and also the system of preservation of land for the survival of mankind.
