Dr. Jesmine Ahmed, MA, M.Phil, Ph.D., currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, Rabindranath Tagore University, Hojai,Assam. She had been working as former head of the Department Political Science at Government Model College,Borkhola,Cachar ,Assam.She also worked as a Guest Faculty at Assam University, Diphu Campus. A former alumna of Cotton College, she has completed her M.A. from Gauhati University. She has qualified UGC NET and has done her M.Phil & Ph.D. from Assam University. Also have more than five years teaching experiences at Post Graduate and Under Graduate level and seven years of research experience. She has published several articles at UGC CARE listed and Scopus journals on North-East India, geopolitics, foreign policy etc. Her area of Interest are Geopolitics and International Relations. Dr. Ahmed is the author of the book “An Introduction to Comparative Politics and Government”. She has edited a book namely “Emerging Issues and Challenges in North-East India”.
