Dr. Saju Mathew (b. 1973) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, Nagaland. He has been with the college for twenty-two years and served as the Head of the Department for fifteen years. Dr. Mathew holds an MA in Economics from K. E. College Mannanam, affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, and M.Com. with a specialization in International Business Operations from Indira Gandhi National Open University. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Nagaland University. His areas of interest include Developmental Economics and International Economics. He has published one edited book and several research articles in National and International journals and chapters in edited books.
Dr. Mohd Faishal (b. 1992) earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honors), Master of Arts, Master of Philosophy, and Doctorate in Economics from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Currently, he holds the position of Assistant Professor in Economics at the Department of Economics, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, Nagaland.
His academic interests encompass various facets of economics including the Indian Economy, Economics of Growth and Development, Quantitative methods, Econometrics, International Trade, and Monetary Economics. He has authored ten peer-reviewed research papers and contributed to the editing of five chapters in books. Dr. Faishal has actively participated in numerous National and International Conferences.
