Ab. Dijinbou is a research scholar in the Department of Cultural and Creative Studies at North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong. Originally from Tamei, Manipur, he is an alumnus of Hamai English High School. He holds a Master’s degree in Folkloristics from NEHU, as well as a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and has qualified for the UGC-NET in Folk Literature. His research interests include tribal studies, culture and folklore.
