Yasmin Khan has got her master’ degree in sociology and started her career as a social worker. She got her Ph.D. in sociologyin 1976. She taught study of society in various govt. and private colleges. Her field of specialisation in culture and society prompted her to write the present book on cultural reorientation. She has contributed many research papers published in Journals. She is visiting Professof of Sociology in many universities in India and abroad and also invited to deliver lectures in Canada and United States on her area of specialisation.
