Gender based issues remain a common issue across the world be it in family, society and during global crises. The pandemic of COVID-19 also not left behind to witness gender based issues such as discrimination, violence and abuse includes domestic violence and health. Thus, this edited book comprises research papers and articles on various gender based issues faced by women during COVID-19. This book is an outcome of a Virtual International Conference on Strategic Reposes towards Promoting Sustainable Gender Equality: Experiences from the Outbreak of COVID 19 organized by Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Assam down town University, Guwahati in collaborations with Kelem Meda Research and Book Review, Department of Rural Development and Agricultural Extension, Dessie Campus, Ethiopia. Chapters presented in this volume promoted several suggestive measures from the perspectives of social, economic, political and health matters. Hence, the outcome of this volume will help the academicians, researchers and policymakers for indepth analysis to respond to such gender based issues to bring equality.
