Contemporary Issues in Mizoram

The book contains 21 research articles which highlight and analysed crucial contemporary issues of Mizoram. The contributors are eminent personalities belonging to teaching profession from Mizoram University, Colleges and research scholars. Since the contributors belongs to diverse academic subject, the significance of the book lies with the detailed analysis of relevant issues in a multi-disciplinary approach. About the Authors

R. LALTHANKHUMI is Assistant Professor in the department of Education,Government Aizawl College. She had more than 12 years of teaching experience. In 2008, she was awarded Ph.d from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Her title of Ph.d is “A study of the attitude of parents, teachers and society towards adjustment andacademic achievement of MentallyRetarded Adolescents in Mizoram”. Shehad published a number of researchpapers in the form of journals andproceedings of seminar / conference.

LALMALSAWMA KHIANGTE is Assistant Professor in the department of Political Science, Govt. Zawlnuam College with more than 12 years of teaching experience. He has published edited book titled Human Security in North East India. He had also contributed a number of papers in books and journals. Currently, he is pursuing Ph.d in the department of Political Science, Mizoram University.

DAVID ROSANGLIANA is Assistant Professor and Head in the department of Mathematics, Government Serchhip College. He had more than 10 years of teaching experience. He is currently pursuing Ph.d in the department of Mathematics & Computer Science, Mizoram University.
