The book revisits the question of what lies beyond the limits of thought. What transcends this limit has been termed Alternate Rationality in this work. The inherent paradox in such a notionis examined and the existential significance of the question recovered. The book enters the debate concerning the principles of thought, language and being and inquires the possibility of making sense of the other of these principles. Through a sustained argument it comes to assert the possibility of alternate rationality, which is silent and ever out of reach.
