Dr. Pintu Prasad Jaiswal (b.1988), M.Com, C.S., Ph.D, is a faculty of Commerce in KGT Mahavidyalaya, Bagdogra under the University of North Bengal. He has previously taught at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok for a period of three years. He is also the Secretary of the Siliguri Chapter of EIRC of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for the year 2023-24. His areas of interest are Financial Inclusion, Banking and Taxation. He has teaching and research experience of more than eight years and has published about half a dozen research articles in reputed journals. He has presented several papers in national and international conferences. Currently, he holds a position as a member of the board of studies for BBA and B.Com (CDOE) at the University of North Bengal. He is also an Associate member of ICSI and a Life member of the Indian Commerce Association and Indian Accounting Association Research Foundation. Prof. Samirendra Nath Dhar (b.1961),, M.Com, M.B.A, Ph.D, is a senior professor in the Department of Commerce, University of North Bengal and has more than 36 years of teaching and research experience. His areas of interest include Microfinance , Financial Inclusion and Corporate Taxation. He has six research based books, notable among which are ‘ Microfinance for Women’, ‘ Microfinance Concepts, Systems, Perceptions and Impact, and ‘Money and Microenterprises in Bhutan’ . He has published more than seventy articles in national and international journals with international indexations. He has been a key- note speaker and technical session chairperson in more than 150 national and international conferences in India and abroad. He has been a resource person in about 130 UGC Refresher and Orientation courses for university and college teachers, faculty development programmes and management development programmes in India. He has worked as an expert in several central and state level commissions and is a member of board of postgraduate and research studies in several universities.
