Niraj Kumar Singh (Ph.D.) is a senior Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Jananayak Chandrashekhar University, Ballia, UP. Prior to this, he was posted as a Lecturer of English in a Government Intermediate College, Bahraich. He secured the third position across the entire state in the highly competitive and prestigious Lectureship Examination in English conducted by the Public Service Commission of Uttar Pradesh. He has carried out his Graduation, Post-Graduation and Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. As the convener of the IPR, Cell, of the Jananayak Chandrashekhar University, he has received a substantial amount of grant from the Council of Science & Technology, Government of Uttar Pradesh to organize a two-day national workshop on IPR. As a creative writer, he tries his hand at poetry and also writes about issues related to society and politics. His academic interests include Travel Writing & Literature, Literature of the Indian Diaspora, Postcolonial Theory and Literature and Indian Writing in English. He has authored two books entitled V.S. Naipaul’s India Based Travelogues: Finally the Correct Perspective Emerges, published by Atlantic Publishers & Distributers, 2019; and Kalpataru, (Collection of Poems), published by Nayi Kitab Publications, 2023; so far and published several research papers and articles in reputed journals and magazines. 

 

Sanjeev Kumar (Ph.D.) holds M.Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and Ph.D. in Social Work from Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Visvavidyalaya, Wardha, Maharashtra. Currently, he serves as a senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work, Jananayak Chandrashekhar University, Ballia, UP. He has extensive teaching experience of around a decade. His academic interests include Community Development, Internal Labour Migration and Indigenous Models of Rural Development. He has published widely in the journals of International and National repute. He is also the member of various administrative and academic committees of the university. He is entrusted with several prominent academic and administrative responsibilities at the university.
